The city has quite an extensive network of bus routes with the different forms of ownership (private and public), trams and metro, which includes three underground lines. The maritime transport in Istanbul has practical value. Indeed, to some areas of the city it is easier and faster to get by sea. The Bosphorus, which at the first glance seems very disordered by sea, in fact a quite adjustable water road. There are boats in the old style, small boats, ferries, which follow several routes and cruise ships. The city has two main piers: Harem and Adalar.
